About M&J Gardens
M&J Gardens is a Derby-based gardening and landscaping business that has traded since 2011. The team carries out garden maintenance, landscaping and construction, property care, and waste clearance across Derby and Derbyshire, working directly with customers. The business is fully insured to £1M and holds a 4.9 out of 5 rating on Google from 122 reviews.
For garden maintenance, M&J Gardens offers weekly, fortnightly or monthly visits covering lawn mowing and edging, hedge cutting, weeding and bed care, planting and pruning, and seasonal tidy-ups. All clippings, trimmings and garden debris are removed and disposed of responsibly. The team arrives fully equipped with professionally maintained tools and can advise on plant selection suited to soil and aspect, particularly useful in Derbyshire where chalk and clay patches occur.
Landscaping services include patios and paving in natural stone, porcelain, block paving or concrete flags, with proper sub-base preparation and drainage. The business also designs and builds new gardens, lays turf, erects fencing in timber panel, close board, picket, trellis and post-and-rail styles, builds decking in softwood or composite, constructs raised beds, and assembles sheds. Old fencing and sheds are removed and disposed of. M&J Gardens also carries out jet washing, fence painting, lawn care and treatment, and commercial grounds maintenance. Waste clearance covers garden waste, old furniture and full house or office clear-outs, with 85 per cent of collected material recycled. Same-day service is available in many cases.
