About Rance Landscapes Ltd
Rance Landscapes Ltd is a third-generation landscaping business based in Watford, established in 1946. It carries out block paving, driveways, fencing, garden design, patios, decking, turfing, artificial grass installation and grounds maintenance for homeowners across Watford, St Albans, Hemel Hempstead, Rickmansworth, Radlett, Chipperfield, Bricket Wood and wider Hertfordshire.
Services include driveway construction with drainage and excavation advice, block paving in various finishes, fencing in wood and other materials for privacy or decoration, and garden design covering plant combinations and colour schemes. Lawn turfing and repair are offered, along with artificial grass installation. Patios and decking are provided in a range of colours, styles and textures, with sub-base investigation carried out before construction. Ongoing maintenance covers lawn care, hedge trimming, tree surgery and planting. Garden design work takes account of the garden's boundaries, undulations and soil structures.
The business was founded by H W Rance at Three Acre Farm in Rickmansworth and is now run by a third generation of the family. Rance Landscapes Ltd is insured and free quotes are available on request. The firm works with homeowners and families seeking to enhance their outdoor spaces, from lawns for children to vegetable patches and entertaining areas.
