About Lucan and son gardening service
Lucan and Son Gardening Service is a family-run gardening business serving Northamptonshire, including Wellingborough, Kettering, Rushden, Hartwell, Daventry and surrounding areas. The business provides year-round garden maintenance for domestic and commercial clients, from one-off tidy-ups to regular upkeep.
Services include lawn cutting and striming on a one-off or regular basis, scarifying, aeration, lawn seeding and re-patching. Hedge trimming keeps hedges well-shaped and dense with new growth. Tree work covers height reduction, pruning, shaping and felling of trees up to 15 metres. The business designs and plants borders, selecting plants for soil type and aspect. Fencing services include concrete and timber frame panel fencing, feather edge close board fencing, picket fencing, repairs and renewals, and exterior wood painting. Gates are supplied and fitted. Landscaping covers lawns, decking, patios, edging and borders, with all groundwork included. Flat packed and handmade sheds are built on site. Pressure washing removes moss and weeds from driveways. Leaf clearing is available as a regular service or one-off visits. Weed control treatments are applied with products suitable for households with pets and children. Overgrown gardens and sites are cleared and transformed.
Each project starts with a free initial consultation where the gardener visits to discuss ideas and provide a quote. The business is fully insured for public liability and DBS approved. It maintains grounds at wedding venues and for estate agents, and looks after nurseries and schools. Equipment is electric to reduce emissions.
