About Kustom Landscapes and Ecology
Kustom Landscapes and Ecology is a landscaping company based in Bournemouth. It designs and builds gardens, carries out garden maintenance, and manages invasive weeds and ecological surveys. The business was founded in 2006 and has roots in Dorset dating back to 2002, initially training in coastal protection before moving into garden design and landscape work.
The services listed are garden design and build, planting and supply, professional garden maintenance, Japanese knotweed control, invasive weed control, and ecological surveys including phase 1 habitat surveys and preliminary ecological appraisals. Garden maintenance covers one-off tidies, regular maintenance and land management for residential gardens, letting agents and holiday homes. Commercial grounds maintenance is provided for offices, car parks and small retail parks. Work includes grass cutting, strimming, hedge cutting, small tree surgery, green waste removal and weed control.
The business covers Bournemouth, Poole and Dorset. A consultation and initial garden design service is offered free. The business works with client ideas or starts afresh with a blank canvas to create outdoor spaces with features needed. Materials are sourced to stand the test of time and remain within budget. Garden features such as LED lighting systems, fake lawns and fencing are fitted, and old features are removed before new work begins. Ecological surveys include botanical and invasive species surveys.
