About Green Wheels Gardening Services

Green Wheels Gardening Services is a sustainable gardening business based in Glasgow, founded in 2023. It maintains gardens for private and commercial properties throughout Glasgow City, using cargo bikes and trailers to reduce petrol use. The services listed are grass cutting, lawn renovation including scarification, de-thatching, re-seeding and turfing, hedge and shrub trimming, garden maintenance, garden clearances, pressure washing, planting and design, wildflower meadows, garden improvements and landscaping, small space gardening, and tree pruning and reduction.

The business covers Glasgow City. Lawn care is available fortnightly or monthly, and garden clearances cover overgrown spaces of any size. Landscaping projects include raised beds, garden furniture, fencing, wooden retaining walls, gravel surfaces, paths and driveways. Planting schemes are chosen for Glasgow's climate and to support pollinators and biodiversity. The business also works with charities and community groups on accessible green spaces and local food growing projects.

Green Wheels uses low-emission equipment and hand tools, minimises waste, and avoids disturbance during bird nesting season. Green waste is removed by cargo bike trailer. Soil improvement and mulching are carried out as part of planting work. The business is run by Micah, who works with customers from initial design through to completion and aftercare advice.
