About Haywood Landscapes Ltd
Haywood Landscapes Ltd is a landscape gardening business based in Canterbury. Founded by brothers Andy and Robert Wiggins in 1990, it designs and builds gardens across Kent and surrounding areas. The business is now employee-owned, with all staff holding a stake in the company.
The services listed are garden design and installation, outdoor kitchens, fire pits, garden structures, fencing in all styles, feature tiling, bespoke rustic timber furniture and sculptures, carved toadstools and stump carving, and garden illusions. Projects range from full garden design-and-build schemes to single features such as a secluded hideaway spot.
Work begins with an in-garden consultation to discuss style, needs and budget. A survey follows, recording dimensions, levels, soil conditions, features to keep or remove, and problem views. The business then presents a design and a fully detailed quotation. The build phase is carried out by three crews of landscapers, keeping disruption to the home to a minimum.
Haywood Landscapes has traded since 1990 and is a member of the Association of Professional Landscapers, the Horticultural Trades Association and the Professional Garden Consultants Association. It holds a Trust Mark accreditation and is an approved landscape professional with Natural Paving and Wildflower Turf. The business incorporates sustainable practices including recycled materials, drip irrigation systems, drought-tolerant planting, wildlife habitats and on-site composting of cleared vegetation. Health and safety systems are approved by Citation.
