About Landcare Trees and Fencing Canterbury
Landcare Trees and Fencing is a family business based in Canterbury that has been trading for more than 30 years. It specialises in tree surgery, fencing, landscaping and maintenance. Tree services include reshaping and balancing, removals and percentage reductions, dangerous limb and tree removal, dead wood removal, fruit tree pruning, hedge maintenance and planting, tree planting, and stump grinding and removal. Landscaping work covers landshaping and sculpting, digger work, grading and garden levelling, turfing and turf removal, ground scraping, soil supplies, shingle and aggregates, retaining features and raised beds, paths, patios, drives and hard standings, garden clearances and greenhouse erection. Fencing installations include post and rail, stock fencing, close board feather edge panels, feather and arris rail fencing, concrete and wooden posts, chicken coops, rabbit proofing, ornamental pergolas, bridges and trellising, and wooden and steel gates.
The business covers Canterbury and the surrounding area. Work begins with a free site visit to discuss requirements and concerns, and a free quote follows. Waste generated is recycled as wood chip and log wood, which can be removed from site or left as the customer wishes. For trees in conservation areas or with preservation orders, the business discusses and advises on obtaining permission during the site visit. Operatives are fully trained and experienced. Materials are sourced from local suppliers. The business is environmentally conscious and avoids tree or hedge work during bird nesting season.
