About Greentop Landscapes & Design

Greentop Landscapes & Design is a landscaping business run by John Roberts, a qualified Garden Designer based in Newport. The business designs and builds gardens across Cardiff, Newport and South Wales, with John bringing nearly 40 years of practical experience in landscaping and construction. Services include full garden design with 3D CAD visualisations, garden construction, project management, and onsite consultations. John also works as a presenter and brand ambassador, and offers phone-based troubleshooting consultations for other landscaping professionals and homeowners.

John trained in Civil Engineering from age 17 and qualified as a Garden Designer at Pershore College in Worcestershire in 2004. His background in construction gives him knowledge of levels, gradients, groundwork and drainage. The business works with homeowners throughout the UK on design projects, and carries out construction work across South Wales. Gardens are planned to be both beautiful and practical, with careful planning for outdoor living spaces. John also mentors other landscapers and runs a YouTube channel sharing practical knowledge. He is a presenter on The Landscaping Show on Fix Radio London, discussing industry topics and welcoming guest speakers.

Greentop Landscapes & Design takes on projects from individual consumers to manufacturers, and works with affiliate landscapers across the region. The business handles client and contractor liaison, materials ordering and milestone inspections on larger projects.
