About ClearSpace Groundcare Solutions
ClearSpace Groundcare Solutions is a family-run landscaping business based in Leicester, run by Faye and Tom Scharenheuvel-Lewitt. The business designs and builds gardens for domestic properties across Leicestershire, with services including paving, patios, turfing, artificial turfing, fencing, decking, driveways, groundwork, tree surgery, hedge work, garden sheds and summer houses. It also offers landscape design with 3D drawings and a guide booklet.
Work begins with a detailed site survey and 3D designs that show the finished garden. The business then carries out the landscaping from start to finish. For artificial turf, the ground is prepared by digging out old soil and laying a compacted base of hardcore, followed by a layer of fine granite dust. The artificial turf has a 38mm pile height, UV protection and is allergy-friendly. A timber frame underneath prevents bumps, and wide rolls reduce seams. For other work, the business uses long-lasting materials and takes care with edgings and finishes.
ClearSpace Groundcare Solutions has traded for over 20 years and has completed work for over 350 households in Leicestershire. The business is carbon neutral and offsets emissions by planting trees. It also offers to offset emissions caused by landscaping projects. Free quotes and consultations are available. Opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm.
