About Acorn Landscape Gardening
Acorn Landscape Gardening is a family-owned landscaping business based in Walton-le-Dale, founded in 2019 by brothers Ian and David Wylie. The business specialises in full garden landscaping, resin bound driveways and garden drainage systems, plus patio and paving, decking, fencing, artificial grass, and shed and pergola installation. It also offers garden condition inspection reports.
The business covers Preston, Leyland, Penwortham, Walton-le-Dale, Chorley and the wider North West. Full garden landscaping includes hard landscaping such as patios, paths, walls and steps, soft landscaping with planting, turf or artificial grass, drainage where needed, lighting and garden structures. Resin driveways are permeable surfaces that add kerb appeal. Drainage work addresses waterlogged gardens, flooding and surface water problems. Patio and paving installation covers porcelain and natural stone. Decking is composite or timber. Fencing includes new runs, replacements and gates. Artificial grass is installed with level base and drainage. Shed and pergola installation is on an hourly rate.
Acorn Landscape Gardening is a team of eight. Ian leads landscaping on site with engineering qualifications and extensive landscaping experience. David runs the office side, drawing on a military background and an MSc in International Business. Work starts with a free online estimate, then a site visit to measure. For full landscaping projects, detailed 3D visualisations and written specifications are produced before work begins. The site is kept tidy throughout. The business has been trading since 2019 and is rated 4.8 stars across 145 verified Google reviews.
