Acorn Ecological Gardening

About Acorn Ecological Gardening

Acorn Ecological Gardening is a gardening and landscaping business based in Blean village, serving Canterbury, Whitstable and the surrounding areas. The services listed are landscaping and design using mature tree planting and native hedge screening, garden maintenance including pruning, hedge trimming and lawn care, nature-friendly garden features such as water features and native wildflower lawns, and one-off services including garden clearances, fruit tree pruning and pond cleaning. Hedge cutting and removal of smaller trees are carried out with an ecological approach, timed to protect plant health and local wildlife.

Acorn Ecological Gardening uses chemical-free methods and prefers manual tools over machinery to protect the peace of the property and wildlife within it. Native plants and locally sourced natural materials are prioritised. The business brings its own tools and equipment, and green waste can be removed for an extra fee or composting areas can be built. Garden maintenance is offered at a frequency to suit each client's lifestyle. Landscaping and one-off jobs are charged by the project, while maintenance work can be charged hourly if preferred. The business holds public liability insurance up to £5 million.
