About York Tree Services
York Tree Services is a tree surgery business in Birmingham covering the West Midlands. It carries out crown reduction, hedge cutting, tree pruning, tree felling, tree shaping, tree removal, dead wooding and cross cutting for logs. The team is City and Guilds qualified in arboriculture and has over 5 years of experience.
Jobs begin with a visit to assess the tree and discuss the work needed. Crown reduction involves trimming outer branches to decrease size and weight, maintain health and prevent storm damage. Hedge cutting keeps hedges neat and well-shaped. Tree pruning and thinning remove branches to improve health, enhance light and air circulation, and reduce falling branch risk. Tree felling safely removes trees that are dead, diseased or pose a safety hazard. Dead wooding removes dead or dying branches. Cross cutting prepares logs for firewood by cutting them to specified lengths. Tree shaping enhances the natural form and structure of trees.
York Tree Services covers the West Midlands and operates a 24-hour emergency service. Equipment includes chippers, chainsaws and cherry pickers. Free quotes are available on request.
