About Whitefords Tree Care
Whitefords Tree Care is a family-run tree surgery business based in Liskeard, founded by brothers Oscar and Jim Whiteford. Oscar brings over 20 years of hands-on experience in tree surgery, while Jim retrained to join the business, combining experience with a modern approach. The business provides tree removal and dismantling, tree pruning including crown reduction, lifting, thinning and deadwood removal, hedge cutting, shaping and reductions, and stump grinding and removal. Emergency callout services are available for fallen trees and hazardous situations.
The business covers Liskeard, Looe, Bodmin, Callington, Launceston, Plymouth, Tavistock and surrounding areas across Cornwall and Devon. Every job starts with careful assessment and planning, with a focus on safety and efficiency and respect for surrounding property and the health of trees. Once work is complete, all waste is cleared, gardens are left neat and tidy, and wood and chippings are responsibly handled or reused. The business is fully insured. Whitefords Tree Care works for homeowners, landowners, farms and commercial clients. Free quotes are offered, and the business grows through word of mouth and repeat customers.
