Tom Francis Tree Services

About Tom Francis Tree Services

Tom Francis Tree Services is a tree surgery business based in Market Harborough. It fells, dismantles and removes trees, removes deadwood, and carries out crown reductions, crown thinning and crown lifting. The business also cuts hedges and plants new trees. Work is carried out for domestic customers across Northamptonshire and surrounding areas.

The services listed are tree felling for trees that are too large or pose a safety risk, tree dismantling for awkward spaces where a tree has become hazardous, deadwood removal to prevent falling debris and keep trees healthy, crown reductions to make trees smaller, crown thinning to let light through, and crown lifting. Hedge cutting is offered with the area cleaned after work is done. The business assesses each tree before work starts to identify hazards and determine the approach needed.

Tom Francis Tree Services was established in 2003. The team holds City and Guilds qualifications in Forestry and Arboriculture and works within the guidelines of the Woodland Trust. The business is fully insured and trained in health and safety. Trees are cut to near ground level, and sections are lowered using ropes, pulleys, karabiners and slings where dismantling is needed. Chippings from removed trees are offered to customers for borders or to local allotment holders. The job site is left clean and tidy once work is complete. Free quotes are available on request.
