Sussex Tree Surgeons

About Sussex Tree Surgeons

Sussex Tree Surgeons is a family-run tree surgery business based in Shoreham-by-Sea, founded in 1988. It carries out tree felling, canopy reductions, reshaping, dead wood removal and pruning for preservation and management of trees. The business also removes storm-damaged and dangerous trees, and makes trees safe. All tree surgery work conforms to British Standard 3998.

The business covers Sussex, Surrey and Kent for domestic work, and the entire South East of England for commercial contracts. Stump grinding and removal is undertaken using machinery that includes mini machines and tractor-mounted equipment for larger stumps. Sussex Tree Surgeons also provides landscaping, seeding, turfing, ground clearance and waste removal using mini diggers, dumpers and tractors with a range of implements. A site visit is arranged and a free written quotation is provided within a few days. The business is fully insured with £10 million public liability cover and is registered with the Environment Agency as a waste carrier. Staff are fully trained and qualified. Over 90 per cent of waste is recycled.
