About Scott Davies Tree Surgery

Scott Davies Tree Surgery is a family-run tree surgery business based in Bolton. Scott has been a tree surgeon for over 20 years and runs the business with a team of tree surgeons. The services listed are tree surgery, tree removal, crown reduction, tree planting, tree consultancy, stump grinding, site clearance, grounds maintenance and emergency tree work available 24/7.

The business covers Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Lancashire and the North West. Work begins with an inspection to assess the tree's condition and recommend the most suitable course of action. The team uses specialist equipment including a Merlo Roto, Unimog, crane, timber trailer, PTO chipper, tracked chipper and large stump grinder. Stump grinding uses a specialist stump grinder with a spinning disc and cutting teeth. The business is Local Authority and NHS approved and holds CS 50 training for dangerous tree situations. Scott is insured and the team clears the site after work is complete.

Scott Davies Tree Surgery has traded since the 1990s. Scott trained through army-recommended courses and has completed many courses in his trade. The business is environmentally conscious to minimise impact on wildlife. Residential and commercial customers use the service, from homeowners to businesses. Equipment is available for hire, including tracked stump grinders, chippers, the Merlo Roto, grapple saw and arborist teams.
