About Rosie Nottage Garden Design Ltd

Rosie Nottage Garden Design Ltd is a garden design business based in Bath. The studio creates and curates landscapes for residential gardens, working with clients to design considered spaces where both people and nature thrive. The business listens to clients and the space itself to create purposeful places. Services include garden design, planting schemes, landscape design and garden build projects.

The business works across the country with a strong presence in Bath, London and the South West. Recent projects include a flood resilient garden in South Wales, a garden for planting and play in Central Bath, hillside dry stone and plants in Central Bath, and reuse of a swimming pool box near Bath. The studio is intentionally small and works with craftspeople and architects across decades of relationships.

The design process begins with listening to clients and understanding their needs and preferences. Rosie takes time at the design stage to interpret ideas, incorporating favourite plants and colours. The team provides ideas, visuals and drawings before implementation. Projects range from small terraced house gardens with dining spaces, sandpits, greenhouses and raised beds for vegetables, to gravel gardens with grasses, flowering plants and seed heads that attract bees and butterflies. The business also carries out planting for events, including Chelsea Flower Show displays.
