About RAW Tree Services
RAW Tree Services is a family-run tree surgery business based in Ashford Hill in Berkshire. It has traded since 2012 and has five generations of tradition in tree work. The business covers Basingstoke, Thatcham, Newbury, Hungerford, Tadley and Reading.
The services listed are tree felling and logging, hedge and bush cutting, climbing and dismantling, stump grinding, chipping, and crown reduction. Single trees or whole clearance jobs are removed, with logs cut to firewood size and stacked or fully removed from site. Hedges of all sizes are trimmed in a single visit with cuttings removed. Where trees are positioned near buildings, fences or cables, climbers safely dismantle them in controlled sections from above. Stumps are ground down to 6-12 inches below ground level, leaving the area ready for turfing, planting or paving. Brash and small branches are fed through a chipper on site, with chippings removed or left as free garden mulch. Crown reduction thins dense growth for more light and reshapes trees for safety and aesthetics, carried out in line with BS3998.
