About R J M Landscaping & Gardening

R J M Landscaping & Gardening is a landscaping and gardening business in Peterborough run by Ray Mabbutt and his son Craig. The business designs and creates new gardens from scratch, cuts lawns, clears overgrown gardens, and carries out garden maintenance for domestic and commercial clients. Services listed include fencing, ponds and water features, pergolas, paths, walling, turfing, artificial grass, patios, decking, hedge cutting and lawn repair by scarifying and reseeding.

The business works mainly in and around Peterborough and often travels within a 30 mile radius. Garden design begins with a visit to discuss what the client wants, and Ray works through each step of the design process. Fences can be picket, sectional or continuous wood, or a mixture of wood and concrete with trellis. Ponds are built formal with basic shapes or made to look natural. Pergolas range from simple wooden structures to features made to fit the garden design. Paths are made from slabs, gravel, block pavers, concrete or a combination, and can be formal or stepping stones. Walling uses stone, bricks, concrete or wooden sleepers depending on the location and purpose. Lawns are created from turf or seed depending on the size, ground quality and cost. Patios and decking are laid and cleaned on request.

Ray has 35 years of experience in landscaping and gardening. The business offers free quotes and advice. Most work is bespoke, ranging from small one-off jobs to ongoing maintenance contracts.
