About Pavecraft Driveways & Patios Ltd
Pavecraft Driveways & Patios Ltd is a family-run driveway and paving business based in Watford. The firm installs block paving, resin, tarmac and gravel driveways, and also carries out patio and path laying, landscaping and fencing. Services listed include driveway installations, resurfacing, repairs, edge restraints, drainage work and garden layouts.
The business covers Watford, Rickmansworth, Croxley, Northwood, Pinner, St Albans, Hemel Hempstead, Berkhamsted, Harpenden, Chalfont St Peters, Stanmore and nearby areas across Hertfordshire and North London. Pavecraft has traded for over 20 years, led by Jimmy Cash and his team. Work starts with a free site survey and consultation, followed by a free quote. Once the price is agreed, a convenient time is scheduled for installation.
The tarmac installation process involves site clearance, laying a sub-base of aggregate, installing edge restraints such as concrete kerbs or block paving, applying tarmac in layers, compacting with heavy rollers, hand-finishing edges, allowing a curing period, and a final quality check. Tarmac can be laid and completed within a day, with a curing period of two to three days before use. Pavecraft sources premium materials and uses skilled professionals. The business works with residential and commercial clients.
