About P Foley Tree Specialist
P Foley Tree Specialist is an arborist business based in Billingham, covering Billingham, Stockton and Middlesbrough. The business fells trees using section felling or straight felling methods, prunes and lops trees, removes and grinds stumps, trims hedges, carries out tree surgery and clears overgrown gardens and vegetation. All wood chips are recycled and logs are used for firewood.
Tree felling work consists of removing trees in sections using step cut, break off and controlled throw methods with lowering ropes, or felling trees in a single unit guided by pulling ropes and felling wedges. Tree pruning is carried out on each tree individually in relation to shape, size and condition, with branches removed using the ABC cut method and large limbs lowered by ropes and slings. Stump grinding machinery can access through a 26-inch gate and fits through a house door to grind stumps out to a specified depth.
The business trims hedges across Stockton and surrounding areas, crafting hedge shapes to produce an aesthetic end result. Tree surgery covers all aspects and includes 24-hour emergency tree surgery and chipping on storm damaged trees. Overgrown gardens and large areas are cleared of unwanted vegetation and left bottomed and cleared of all debris. P Foley Tree Specialist is fully insured to £5 million for domestic and commercial customers, and a high percentage of business comes from repeat customers and referrals.
