About Oakfall tree surgery
Oakfall Tree Surgery is a family-run tree surgery business based in Basingstoke. The firm carries out tree surgery, tree removal, tree reduction, hedge removal, site clearance and stump grinding for domestic and commercial customers. Emergency tree surgery is also offered. The services listed include deadwood removal, pollarding, crown lifting, crown reduction, crown thinning, directional felling and sectional dismantling.
The business covers Alton, Basingstoke, Farnham, Fleet, Hartley Wintney, Hook and the surrounding areas of Berkshire and Hampshire. Oakfall Tree Surgery was established in 2017 and employs tree surgeons who hold City and Guilds and NPTC accreditations. The firm is a member of Checkatrade and carries public liability insurance.
Work begins with a risk assessment during an initial survey to produce detailed method statements. The business owns specialist equipment for safer work in hard-to-reach areas and confined spaces, including locations affected by overhead cables. All services are delivered by the firm's own personnel. The clientele includes site managers, developers, residential and commercial property owners, builders, local schools and colleges, and local authority bodies. A sensitive approach to tree surgery promotes arboricultural health, and wherever possible the business aims to preserve healthy trees instead of removing them.
