About New Horizon Horticultural Services
New Horizon Horticultural Services is a family-run landscaping business based in Gateshead. It designs and creates private and commercial gardens, carries out sports turf maintenance and drainage work, and provides lawn care for domestic and commercial clients. The services listed are complete garden landscaping, patios, stonework, decking, fences, garden buildings, driveways, green roofs and bio retention systems.
The business covers the North East, Northumberland and Cumbria, working for homeowners, commercial clients, private clients and local authorities. The team includes three fully experienced contractors qualified to degree level. Andrew Morrison handles operations, construction, tree surgery and surveys, and has worked in landscape and amenity horticulture for more than twenty years. Adam Largue joined in early 2017 and has skills in paving and joinery with experience in landscaping.
Jobs begin with an initial enquiry and consultation. The business takes measurements and photos, discusses how the space will be used, style preferences, plant choices, parking needs, existing features and soil conditions. A detailed quotation follows. Once agreed, work starts with ground preparation. The business removes existing features, builds fences, creates planting areas, lays turf, fits patios with drainage, and installs new gates. New Horizon Horticultural Services was established in 2006.
