About N & J Tree Services Ltd
N & J Tree Services Ltd is a commercial arboricultural contractor based in Stoke-on-Trent. Established in 2001 and incorporated in 2004, the business has grown from an arboricultural contracting operation into a broader commercial service with experienced teams and specialist plant. It provides tree and vegetation management, site and land clearance, highways arboriculture, emergency response, surveys and reports, and mechanised arboriculture for local authorities, highways organisations, construction firms, social housing providers and managed estates.
The business covers Staffordshire, Cheshire and the North Midlands. Services include tree removal and sectional dismantling, commercial pruning and crown management, stump grinding, large-scale tree and scrub clearance, tree inspections, ecology surveys and QTRA assessments. The fleet includes excavators with timber and shear grabs, specialist MEWPs, cranes, forestry machinery, tracked chippers, stump grinders, mulchers, flails, tractors, winches and lifting systems. Plant, operators and arborists are planned together as one system, with equipment selected to reduce manual handling, limit work at height and improve control over large timber.
N & J Tree Services holds ARB Approved Contractor status, is a Constructionline Gold Member and a QTRA Licensed User. The business offers 24/7 contract emergency response for storm damage and fallen trees. Early arboricultural and ecological input is provided to identify tree and ecological constraints before they affect access, sequencing or follow-on trades. Work is planned around site access, ground conditions, overhead and underground services, and neighbouring assets.
