About Minters Tree Care Ltd
Minters Tree Care Ltd is a tree surgery and arboriculture business based in Canterbury, serving East Kent for over 8 years as a limited company since 2021. The founder brings more than 15 years of hands-on experience in tree care across domestic gardens, commercial developments and rural estates. The business specializes exclusively in tree work.
For domestic clients, Minters Tree Care carries out tree felling and removal, crown reduction and pruning, stump grinding, and hedge cutting. Tree removal includes dangerous or diseased trees, trees near buildings with controlled sectional dismantling, limited access work, and emergency removals. Crown reduction reduces overall size while maintaining natural shape, crown thinning selectively removes branches to improve light, crown lifting removes lower branches for clearance, and deadwood removal takes out dead or dangerous branches. Stump grinding removes stumps below ground level to allow replanting or laying turf.
For commercial clients, the business handles site clearance, forestry and woodland management, and contract work. Site clearance covers full vegetation removal, stump and root removal, and waste management. Forestry management includes woodland thinning, timber harvesting, access track creation and disease management.
Minters Tree Care covers Canterbury, Whitstable, Herne Bay, Dover, Deal, Sandwich, Folkestone, Hythe and surrounding areas of East Kent. All work is carried out to BS3998 British Standards. The business holds £5 million public liability insurance and employer's liability insurance. Equipment includes mobile elevated work platforms, stump grinders, industrial wood chippers, tractors with flail attachments, and timber extraction and winching equipment. All machinery is maintained to professional standards and operated by trained personnel.
