Lilybud Gardens by Design is a garden design and landscaping business in Worthing run by Lisa Attwell. Lisa passed the Royal Horticultural Society General Certificate with a commendation and graduated from Hadlow College and the University of Greenwich as a qualified garden designer. She also holds building craft qualifications and worked for 3 years as Head Gardener at a three-acre historic walled garden in Brighton.

The business provides garden design, garden landscaping, planting plans and garden consultations across Brighton, Worthing and surrounding areas including Shoreham, Steyning, Arundel, Pulborough and Lewes. A consultation begins with a visit to discuss how the space will be used and the style preferred, with mood boards and a portfolio shown. The design process includes a questionnaire, site survey and analysis, outline sketches and a master plan. Designs consist of a scale 2D plan and several full colour 3D perspectives showing views from the house. Lisa returns 6 months after planting to check plant progress and discuss maintenance.

Lilybud Gardens by Design works with a network of landscapers, suppliers and specialist trades to build gardens to the designs. The business sources home-grown plants locally to Sussex where possible and works with a local ecologist on plants that benefit local insects and invertebrates. Local materials are preferred to reduce environmental impact. The team is fully insured. Planting plans cover whole gardens or borders, containers and front gardens, with designs for colour, scent, texture and wildlife benefit.
