About Ecton Gardening Services
Ecton Gardening Services is a family-run gardening business based in Northampton. It carries out garden maintenance, landscaping projects and grounds management for private gardens and estates. The services listed are organic gardening, hedge maintenance and shaping, tree care and preservation, pond creation, habitat features for wildlife, garden redesign and ongoing maintenance.
The business works across Northamptonshire. Ollie founded the business after developing an interest in gardening from an early age, influenced by classic British gardening methods and heritage planting. His brother Harry brings knowledge of timber structures and wildlife-friendly design, and Vlad, a family friend, provides knowledge of arboriculture, hedge maintenance and estate management.
Ecton Gardening Services uses organic and low-impact techniques with an emphasis on biodiversity. Materials are sourced from local plant nurseries and reclaimed material yards in Northamptonshire to reduce environmental impact and support local businesses. The business specialises in gardens with heritage features, preserving original elements and enhancing period charm. Work begins with a visit to understand each garden's needs before moving forward. The business offers flexible packages for full redesigns or ongoing maintenance, with clear pricing. Many clients have been with the business for years.
