DR STUMP LTD

About DR STUMP LTD

Dr Stump Ltd is a tree surgery business in Norwich offering tree removal, felling, crown reduction, stump grinding and bamboo removal across Norfolk and surrounding areas. The team is Arb Approved and trained to identify and safeguard wildlife, including bats and birds, before carrying out tree work. Services cover domestic, commercial and public land, with emergency callouts available.

The business works across Norfolk and further afield. Dr Stump has over a decade of hands-on experience and holds arboricultural qualifications. The team conducts a site visit to assess the work, check for Tree Preservation Orders, conservation areas and wildlife habitats, then sends a written quotation with costs broken down. Once accepted, the business arranges a date for work to commence. Payment is taken upon completion by bank transfer or cash.

Dr Stump is fully insured and follows British Standard 3998:2010. The business uses biodegradable chainsaw oil and aspen fuel to reduce emissions by up to 98 per cent, Tier V engines to reduce Nitrogen Oxide emissions, machinery with low-impact tracks, and electric saws and trimmers in built-up areas. The team leaves each property tidy after work is finished. For public land, the business consults an ecologist, schedules work around bird nesting season, avoids bat habitats and installs wildlife shelters such as bat and bird boxes and woodland shelter piles.
