About Climbers Way Tree Care
Climbers Way Tree Care is a tree surgery business based in Southampton. It removes trees by felling or dismantling, grinds tree stumps, prunes and maintains trees, carries out tree surveys, and handles tree-related consultancy. The business works for local councils, developers, housing associations, commercial properties, schools and estates across the South of England, Hampshire, Surrey, Oxfordshire and Wiltshire, including Winchester, Salisbury and the New Forest.
The business operates multiple teams of fully qualified tree surgeons who work to British Standard 3998 and current industry good practice. Jobs begin with a free site visit or an instant estimate form with photographs, followed by a detailed quotation with a cost breakdown and timeline. The business handles all Tree Preservation Order applications and council consents as part of its service. On the day of work, the team arrives fully equipped, conducts a visual survey, sets up a safe site with traffic management if needed, and carries out the work with care to protect the property. A thorough clean-up follows, and an invoice reflects the pre-agreed quote.
Climbers Way Tree Care has traded for 10 years and is an Arboricultural Association Approved Contractor. The team comprises 30 staff and is run by Tom Bunday as Managing Director. The business holds £10,000,000 public liability insurance, £10,000,000 employers' liability cover and £1,000,000 professional indemnity cover. Direct contact with the company owner is available during working hours. The business works for Denmead Parish Council, Wokingham Borough Council and Bristol City Council.
