About Burnell Fencing Ltd
Burnell Fencing Ltd is a fencing company based in Durham, started by David and Donna Bushby in 1992. The business fabricates and erects timber fencing, steel fencing, security fencing and temporary site security fencing to client specifications. It supplies fencing materials to the trade and the public, and offers design advice and drawings for fencing schemes.
The company covers the entire northeast of England, north Yorkshire and the Scottish Borders. Burnell Fencing has a workforce of 50 fencing operatives, 7 steel fabricators and 2 joiners, alongside estimators, accounts and office staff. The business moved to its current premises in 1994 and began fabricating its own steel fencing, including decorative steel fencing and security gates. In 2011 it purchased an additional 3 acres to expand the site. The company became a limited company in 1998 as the workforce and workload grew.
