About Beechill Landscapes Ltd
Beechill Landscapes Ltd is a landscaping company based in Belfast, founded in 1984 by Michael Pollock. The business operates five departments: grounds maintenance, commercial landscaping, private gardens, tree surgery and tarmacing or resin bond resurfacing. It works for private homeowners, commercial clients and facilities managers across Northern Ireland.
The company carries out garden design and construction, tree felling, tree pruning, hedge maintenance, woodland walks and environmental improvement schemes. Grounds maintenance packages are offered on an annual basis. Driveways are resurfaced with tarmac, which lasts upwards of fifteen years, or resin bond, which lasts upwards of 25 years and is permeable and easily maintained. The business has access to tree and shrub nurseries from all over Europe.
Work begins with an on-site consultation to discuss options within budget. Following this, detailed information is gathered and a package is formulated, which may include design sketches. Once the client approves the concept, timescales and budget, construction begins. The team involves clients at every stage of the work.
Beechill Landscapes Ltd has been trading since 1984 and has won eight awards from the Association of Landscape Contractors of Ireland in three categories. All staff are Construction Skills Register registered and operate under the company's health and safety policy. The business is a member of SafeContractor, Constructionline, the Association of Landscape Contractors of Ireland and the British Association of Landscape Industries. Michael Pollock is Director of the private gardens department, and Wilson Shaw, who joined in 2005, is Director of Commercial and Finance.
