About A & L Waring LLP
A & L Waring LLP is a family-run fencing manufacturer based in Cheltenham. The business has been trading since 1965 and is now in its sixtieth year. It makes and installs garden fencing, wooden garden gates and wooden sheds, all handmade to order. The business also supplies fencing materials and arranges delivery.
A & L Waring works across Cheltenham, Bishops Cleeve, Shurdington and the surrounding areas of Gloucestershire. Each fence, gate and shed is made to measure, reflecting the garden's layout and personal style. The range includes traditional close-board fencing and contemporary timber panels. Clients can visit the premises to discuss design options, or order supply-only materials for self-installation. Emergency repairs are available during business hours. All residential fencing work is carried out in-house.
The business is a second-generation family operation with a small team. It is fully insured and uses quality materials throughout. Fencing supplies can be delivered at a time to suit the client. The business offers a bespoke design service. A & L Waring sponsors Cheltenham Town FC and Shurdington Rovers FC.
